Frequently Asked Question's On Rentals(FAQ's)
1. Does Jerry's Trailers & Campers require a security deposit?
Yes, we charge $200 for the fold downs and $500 for the travel trailers.
We do require this security deposit at time of reservation. When you pickup your rental
camper the security deposit will roll into the damage deposit. Yes the deposit will be cashed and returned to you in a form of a check when we check everything out when it comes back as long as nothing is damaged. You'll pay the rental fee on top of the security deposit.
2. What is the damage deposit?
The damage deposit is to insure that the camper comes back the same as it went
out. The damage deposit will be returned to the renter after returned,
checked and determined to be free of damage.

If you cancel your reservation prior to 21 days before the scheduled delivery
date, your entire deposit will be returned.

insurance company restricts us from releasing a rental unit to a substitute such
as a spouse, child, parent, friend, etc.

a wide variety of trailer sizes, so normally we have something for everybody.
12. What kind of hitch and vehicle wiring do I need to tow you
campers?
For fold downs you will need a permanent
class II (or heavier) hitch, 2" ball, and flat 4 wiring.
For the travel trailers you will need a class III (or heavier) hitch, 2 5/16"
ball, electronic brake control, and 7 way plug.
Most of our campers are equipped with seven way round plugs for vehicle wiring.
We do have adapters to convert many different types of vehicle plugs to
what our campers have. Please call us to discuss the specifics of your
vehicle and camper you are planning on renting.
13. How can
I find out what class of hitch is on my vehicle?
If you have a frame mounted receiver hitch below your bumper, first determine
the dimensions of the square hole. If it is 2x2, you have at least a
Class III hitch, you can tow any trailer Jerry's Trailers & Campers has.
If the dimension is 1.25x1.25 you have either a Class I or Class II. Look
for capacity information on a a sticker or engraved into the steel arms of the
hitch which attach to your vehicle frame.
